A one day training program on blogging has been organized by Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) Pakistan chapter  in Lahore. Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) Pakistan (a non profit affiliate of the US Chamber of Commerce) a part of Center for International Private Enterprise is going to organize a workshop on bogging in Lahore. Blogging has got much importance in today’s World. So, this workshop is for those people who are interested in contributing blog stories in the interest of public at large on the following areas
  • Corruption
  • Entertrepreneurship (Youth, Women)
  • CSR
  • Women Issues
If you have good hands in English and are able to wirte and want to start your own blog, then this is one of the best platforms to join. This is a valuable training program organized by CIPE Pakistan. You will get to know everything about blogging.

CONTENTS:
Session 1: Why blog, key challenges of blogging, thematic areas of blogging
Session 2: Technical bits in blogging, what platform to use for blogging, design and formats of blog, plugins and tools to optimize a blog, making money through blog
Session 3: How to market the blog using social media

PARTICIPATION CRITERIA:
75% of participants would be experienced bloggers who have been blogging for any of the topic. 25% will be the potential startup bloggers.

Hammad Siddiqui:
Hammad Siddiqui is qualified from US Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Organization Management, Hammad Siddiqui,IOM, has over 26 years of senior management experience in international organizations. He currently works as Deputy Country Director at the Center of International Private Enterprise (CIPE). Specializing in institutional capacity building, change management, leadership development and non-profit management, he is also a trained discussion facilitator from The British Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Hammad has developed expertise in social media strategies and integration of various platforms. He passionately blogs on topics such as entrepreneurship, management, career and social media. As a senior level management professional, he posses 23 years of experience and knowledge in the not-for-profit sector. He has strong abilities in the areas of strategic planning and partnership development, operational management, staff development, performance and quality standards, institutional capacity building, budgeting and change management, developing new contacts and strategic partnerships. He had served sixteen years at the British Deputy High Commission and 3 years at the Center for International Private Enterprise (www.cipe.org - A US Chamber affiliate).
 

Hammad Siddiqui is currently developing and managing CIPE's country-wide programs in the areas of Policy Advocacy, Corporate Governance, Economic Journalism, Women Entrepreneurship and Chambers and Associations development.
